A clear, one-screen dashboard for an agency owner, built to show what’s been earned, what’s coming in, and what needs chasing.

A small agency’s numbers were spread across invoicing software, spreadsheets, and the owner’s head. Work was coming in and clients were happy, but there was no single place to see how much had been earned this month, how much was in the pipeline, or which invoices had gone quiet. The owner needed one screen that showed how the business was really doing and made it obvious what to chase.
We kept the brief tight: one dashboard, built around money and clients. Everything else came out of the navigation. The four numbers an owner checks first sit at the top, the trend sits underneath, and one brand colour runs throughout, so overdue invoices are the only thing in red and the eye goes straight to what needs attention.
A single overview page with a simple sidebar: Overview, Clients, Pipeline, Invoices, Reports and Settings. Four cards sit at the top: monthly revenue, active clients, pipeline value and overdue invoices, each with a trend badge so the direction is clear without opening anything.
Below them, a twelve-month revenue chart (with a switch to six months) and a breakdown of revenue by service show where the income comes from. A recent invoices table closes the page, with each invoice marked paid, pending or overdue.
Large figures, generous spacing and one accent colour keep the page calm. The overdue card shows the total outstanding, not just a count, so the owner sees how much is at stake. Numbers use tabular figures so columns line up and are quick to compare.
We designed it for a studio of around thirty active clients, wrote the labels in plain language, and cut anything an owner wouldn't check weekly. We built it with realistic sample data so the screen behaves like the real thing. All figures on the page are sample data.
The result is one screen an owner can open in the morning and understand in under a minute: what came in, what's coming, and what's overdue. Cadence is a concept project that shows how we approach dashboards and internal tools. The same layout can be connected to a real business's invoices and CRM, with sign-in and a database behind it.
